Also, I ended up finding a shiny Ditto in Owens's Safari while looking for good IV Dittos to give Destiny Knots to. I have a picture of it that I'll put up when I get back from class.

I'm still pissed about Pokebank, too. Most of the few blanks remaining in my pokedex are the legendaries from gen 2 – 5.

The problem with the hacked pokemon though is that legitimate pokemon apparently contain bits of trash data that the games use to verify if they're legitimate or not and the hackers know how to replicate it. As long as they don't boost their stats over the parameters or slap unlearnable moves on their pokemon the bank gives them a pass. From what I've heard that's pretty much all it takes.

Hey, so, I'm trying to masuda method breed a shiny Ralts into a Gallade, and so far, I have 3 1/2 boxes completely full of Ralts. By this point, I have every gender with every nature, so, if you need a Ralts, I will gladly give it to you for a freaking bunnelby for all I care. I'd rather help someone out with my horde of Ralts than just release them and no one benefits. If anyone is interested, my friend code is 3969-5582-2935, and just let me know if you want one.

P.S. I also have the Pokérus being held on a Frogadier, so I can also give it the Pokérus, if you plan on using it competitively.

Details: I have a female Modest Ralts and a male Adamant Ralts sitting in my box, which are in my opinion the best natures. I don't have their hidden abilities, but Telepathy is only good for double battles, and it's not likely that someone would use a dark-type move on a gallade in caution for justified, unless you switch out. (Also, I can give it a nickname if you want)

I caught a shiny Ursaring last night (dude's fucking green, lolwut) and I've been trying to hatch a shiny koffing with a japanese ditto. Hasn't been a waste of time at all though because offering koffings (being unobtainable in this game) for easily obtained pokemon I was too lazy to get over the GTS worked like a charm. I even got most of the dumb friendship evolutions this way like Blissey and Togetic.

Speaking of which, how far have you guys got in the super rounds? My record's 38 in super singles. I wanna actually get to 50 in at least one of them and I remember getting damn close to 100 with a Garchomp, Gengar and a shell armor Lapras with a curse set in one of the battle towers. I'm probably going to try that next.

I haven't done much Battle Maison, but I heard that Mega Kanghaskan is almost unbeatable with the right moveset. Someone on the Pokemon Subreddit was saying that they went ~300 wins without their Kanghaskan fainting, and it only did when an opponent got a Quick Claw Fissure off.

My personal best is 73 wins.

My tag team record with my brother is 52.

You probably haven't seen me online because I couldn't have played more than an accumulated total of five hours over the past two months. I'm just not playing that much Pokemon these days. I was waiting for Pokemon Bank to come out, but that was a big disappointment that only further decreased my desire to play.

In any case, I live in Ohio, so that'd be Eastern Standard Time, and when I play largely depends on when I'm awake.

Has anyone else had problems with the record lady…?

I feel like an idiot because she says my Super Single record is only 24, which is what it was like 2 or 3 attempts before my 73 streak.

Perhaps there was some kind of error when it was writing the data.

Sigh.

Maybe I'm just hallucinating and it was never 73. I'll show myself out.

EDIT: Well, fuck, now it's telling me that my highest record for Super Multi is 12. This game is determined to make me look like some douchebag making shit up.

You know, I forgot all about Mega Kangaskan. That would have been great to have on the 33rd battle of my most recent attempt where a starmie outran and took out all of my pokemon with an actually competitive moveset (I have the worst luck with this I swear) because Mega Kangaskan throws a wicked sucker punch. But then again so does Bisharp (and with more resistances).

But I guess Mega Kangaskan gets two chances to paralyze with body slam and two attack increases with power up punch while Bisharp's best ability (Defiant) rarely comes in handy.

Good thinking on the Body Slam strategy, although it looks like you can't run a Body Slam on Kangaskhan until Pokebank comes out. I was looking at some of Kangaskhan's other moves from previous generations, and it looks like there are some other good ones to teach it after the Pokebank comes out outside of Japan:

-Drain Punch: Gen 4 TM or Gen 5 move tutor
-Stomp (flinching): Gen 4 through 6 egg move
-Trump Card (wouldn't be great but could work if you ran a special attacker Kangaskhan): Gen 5 and 6 egg move
-Bulldoze (2x speed drop): Gen 5 and 6 TM
-Rock Smash (possible 2x defense drop): Gen 5 and 6 TM

Those are just some moves I've seen that might be effective with Mega Kangaskhan. In the meantime, I think I'll check and see which other Pokemon are good to use in the Battle Maison.

So I plan on breeding a Noibat to use competitively, but what nature should I have for it: Modest or Timid?

Modest, hands down. Noivern is already pretty freaking fast, but if you still want it to have even better speed, just throw in some speed EVs. Also, make sure it has Infiltrator, that's one of the things that really makes it hated by the opponent. When you hatch it and evolve it, it can learn BoomBurst, Dragon Pulse, and Hurricane as egg moves, and then you can use a TM for Roost, which is my suggested moveset. Yeah, I know you can go with Draco Meteor, but then there's that Special Attack drop, and every other move you have is special, unless you have a Pokémon you an switch out to that can take a hit, which then it's okay to have Draco Meteor.

And on top of everything, it's best for Noivern to be an all-out attacker, since it doesn't have very good buffing moves that it can learn. I have mine hold the leftvovers, but the Choice Specs are also a good choice, again if if you have a Pokémon that can take a hit, because if you spam BoomBurst, and you run out of PP, or you face a ghost-type, you're pretty much screwed.

My next team will look like this in possibly a few days – weeks depending on how well I train.

I have a few other potential dragons in the mix, but I need to sort everything out first. I already have all the pokemon I need to get this started, I just need to train pretty much everyone except for Aggron, Altaria, and Hydreigon.

Guys, I need some help knowing stuff.

I want to get into comp battling, but there are some things that's perplexing to me. I know the Tier System, the effects of entry hazard and weather, and etc. but I have no idea how to build a Proper Team and Synergy. I don't know how to work a team that revolves around weather, one Pokemon that's powerful, or making a stall team.

When it's a Pokemon based on high speed, go for ALL THE SPEED, that way you can be even more certain you outspeed the other fast Pokemon who lack high IVs or EV investment in speed.

Lucario… Not only because I've always loved it from the start, but just something about it is so unique that I like. Given, I always name my Lucario Shadow Man, since he's the closest thing to portrayal of Shadow Man himself (which just so happens where my username came from). On top of everything, it got a mega, and was emphasized in not one, but two generations, IV, with Riley, and VI with Korrina. Not to mention it got a giant statue of itself in the Tower of Mastery. I always make sure I have Lucario in my teams at all times, right next to Gallade and Gardevoir, which are my second and third favorites.
