He looks like he had so much hunny he got stuck in Rabbit's back door.

There seems to be more to do with Type: Null, including an evolution surprisingly, but no further images yet.

From Serebii

" From the same source, but currently without pictures so it's unconfirmed, Jangmo-o's evolution is in the magazine, and is Dragon/Fighting-type, and that Type: Null it evolves into a Pokémon called Shiruvadi (シルヴァディ) and that either Null or its evolution change type based on items it holds. We'll bring confirmation of this as and when it comes so keep checking back.
12:50: The same source says that Shiruvadi has got the ability "AR System" which changes its type based on the hold item"

So Type:Null confirmed humans attempt at recreating God. Alolan's having no respect for the Sinnoh religion.

No 3D

Uh, no?

None of your sources claim there will be no 3D, and two of them even explicitly contradict it (if only to mention that 3D causes the game to lag while active).

Where did you get that from?

I didn't read the articles and only watched the video, they said 3-D was removed for all but a single feature, or two or three, I believe, stating that 3-D in battles and overworld was gone.

On the info given in the video, it's nice to hear there are some common pokemon we haven't seen yet. Leaves some surprises. Unless GF didn't learn from ORAS demo and the SM demo gets datamined to hell and back. One can only hope. Other info includes

- First Trial will not begin until around 2:30 hour mark
-You meet Team Skull before this, in the first major city.
-You visit a small village before this city.
-Tapu Koko saves the MC from falling off a bridge in a cut scene
-Route 1 music will be amazing apparently
-There might be a second, unknown rival who will pick starter strong towards yours (might)
-You can customize your hair in the first two hours, no word on clothing that soon or not
-Tutorial stage will be quick
-You get Exp Share around 1:40 hour mark, it will be the same as XY Exp Share
-Rotom Pokedex will be cutesy but otherwise not too much different or too intrusive.

That's what I remember off the top of my head.

Edit: Also, the pictures confirming Type:Null evo and Jangmo-o evo lines released 1 2 3

Jangmo-o final evo looks like it’s wearing Pharaoh headdress of scales. It almost looks like an ancient arab warrior, but damn, we finally got our Dragon/Fighting, and I will spend hours looking for it too, it will be on my team.

Type:Null evo ’s face ironically looks more like Palkia than Arceus. Should be getting more info tomorrow, probably corocoro, maybe something extra and maybe no Type:Null evo (seems like something to be left out)

According to Wondersquid from tv tropes, he discovers something from the puzzle minigame from Pokemon-Amie. AKA the minigame that no one likes.

- The point counter maxes out at 49999.
- Go over 48, the game starts crashing for 5 seconds at a time.
- Eventually, it starts crashing every time it has to load a new puzzle and lags horribly for each one.

Big update woohoo

Type Null evolves into Silvally, which takes the whole "fake Arceus" thing further with a type-switching mechanic.

Jangmo-o evolves in the the Dragon/Fighting Hakamo-o and then Kommo-o. Has the unique move "Clanging Scales". Same abilites of Soundproof or Bulletproof.

Bounsweet evolves into Steenee – CUUUUUUUUTE! and then Tsareena. Still pure Grass with Leaf Guard or Oblivious, except Tsareena will have "Queenly Majesty" instead of Oblivious. Like Bruxish's Dazzling ability, it appears to block priority. Tsareena has the unique move "Trop Kick".

Cutiefly evolves into Ribomee, still Bug/Fairy with Honey Gather or Shield Dust.

Alolan Grimer and Muk are Poison/Dark with Poison Touch or Gluttony. Based on the rainbow colouring I think it's supposed to be an oil spill this time.

Dat Rock Kahuna lady tho. O.O

I think the music at the start of this trailer is Gladion's theme.

Also have a longer

…holy shit.

Incidentally, this finally gives us a canon answer to whether the C in Arceus is hard or soft.

It seems that Mega Kangaskhan got nerfed if the Japanese trailer is any indication. At around 3:54, the second hit appeared to have dealt even less damage than the first hit. Looks like Parental Bond's second hit is less powerful than in Gen 6. I think it must have went from 50% of the first hit to 25%.

Also, Tackle deals 40 damage instead of 50.

Not surprised. I heard it was the only pokemon the game director admitted was "Over-powered" Still, if only the damage is affected, Parental Bond PUP will still work just fine.

Hey guys some stuff from the demo has been datamined, so just a pre-emptive heads up that using spoiler tags would be advisable when discussing info that has not been officially revealed.

I've managed to avoid most things but the likely Pokédex numbers are out there as well as certain unexpected forms etc.

The demo was pretty fun, the graphics look a bit nicer and although there are still some frame drops when using the camera, the game seems smoother overall.

I've been seeing images of an Alolan Dugtrio, and I have to say it seems kinda meme worthy… I just don't know what the meme would be.

I've pondered a Three Stooges Joke, and even a Hippie joke… But personally I like the nickname "DuuuudeTrio".

I'm not even sure why… Maybe its just because it also reminds me of hair metal bands… Am I thinking of the 70s, the 80s, or the 90s?

I did some math in finding out what IVs the demo's Greninja has. I found that it has 128 EVs invested in both Attack and Sp. Attack, and 252 EVs invested in Speed. Provided that IVs work the same as in Gen. 6, I've concluded that the Demo Greninja has an IV distribution of 21/31/20/31/20/31.

That's not that bad because you can reset EVs and increase IVs.

These are all of the sprites that were datamined from demo.

All Alolan Forms sprites and new forms of old Pokemon + Shiny sprites:

New trailer is out. Showcases the starter's final evolution and introduces the rest of the island guardian pokemon, and some other big stuff.

I have no words. It's that good

Welp, I guess I can finally give my thoughts on some of the new Pokemon in this trailer without having to worry about spoilers:

Decidueye: Looking at the design initially from the starter leak, I thought it was just going to keep the Flying type its two previous evolutions had, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that Decidueye didn't go that route and opted for a different type that isn't as prone to Ice Shard. Can't really say for sure as to whether it will be a physical or special attacker, or even mixed. When I get a Rowlet of my very own, I'm definitely naming it Kongu.

Incineroar: I know some people who are still pissy over its design (and they will go unmentioned), but looks aren't really everything. I certainly do find some charm in a lot of Incineroar's animations, namely the "Ew no" animation in the Pokemon-amie segment. I also love that badass lariat attack it has, and having it be a variant of the useful Sacred Sword attack is a plus (though the animation does give me bad memories of the Grace & Glory enemies from Bayonetta).

Primarina: Not too surprised that Popplio would end up being part-Fairy, since the Nintendo Treehouse stream during E3 showed it having a Fairy-type attack. My guess is that it'll most likely have Pixilate as its ability, seeing how it's a popular ability among Fairy types, especially those that are more sound-oriented.

Island Guardians (Tapu Lele, Bulu, and Fini): I'm thoroughly convinced that GameFreak was well-aware of the popularity of Pokemon like Talonflame and Mega Kangaskhan in Gen. 6 for their priority attacks, so they introduced a large number of things that block out priority attacks, and it's Tapu Lele that I have to thank for making me think this. Anyway, it's nice to see the field terrains get some love this generation, and I can't wait to see what kinds of strategies will come out of them now that terrain can be activated without taking up moveslots.

Cosmog: Don't really have much to say on this floating piece of cosmic cotton candy, though I imagine that it has some significance to the plot, seeing how Aether is really interested in this thing.

Alolan Persian: I'd say out of all the new Alolan forms, Persian is my least favorite design-wise. I understand how it may have come to look this way, as Alolan Meowth was described as being pets to royalty; and how it is common to breed animals for certain traits to get different features, but it doesn't change how goofy-looking Alolan Persian looks. It's not even the sort-of charming goofy that Alolan Exeggutor has.

Just a heads up that dataminers have the full game so pretty much everything will become known over the course of the next 2 days or so, thanks to everyone for using the spoiler tags thus far, probably best to keep it up until the game is officially out. The Nintendinjas may do their rounds to try and get leakers to stop but they never succeed.

Damn it I knew it would leak

The Nintendo Ninja's did get someone one time with X and Y actually.
However am I the only one where they are making the Ragyo parallels from the leaks alone really apparent?

What's hilarious is you have people on sites like 4chan reacting to the ban by saying "I'M NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM NINTENDO EVER AGAIN!" when the fact is they got banned because they chose to pirate the game and GO ONLINE BEFORE RELEASE rather than waiting for the actual release day.

Reminds me of this

Seriously, I've had to double down to avoid spoilers cause of this shit and I haven't been 100% successful. One of the new Pokemon got spoiled for me because a person in the image gallery put it in the notes and thought that it didn't deserve a spoiler when the image was an explanation of the pokemon's existence. Now with the pirated games and the whole plot being leaked, if I want to still enjoy the adventure and discovery part of the games, I've got to triple down. I feel like people just vacated this thread because they were too scared of accidentally seeing something.

Has there ever been a Pokémon game that has been leaked in its entirety before release? Just asking out of curiosity.
I still think that the demo stuff, while worth it, wasn't particularly well thought out when you consider people could actually break it and find access to most of the database. I think it's an enormous fuck-up by both Gamefreak and Nintendo and I really REALLY hope they'll be more careful in the fut…yeah, that won't ever happen because I'm pretty sure they let the leaks happen willingly. I mean it generates hype, no?
People like me still would like to enjoy a more or less untainted playthrough of the game for once. Not only have leakers given away every important info beforehand (last starter evolution and some other things, for example), not only did Gamefreak not check and scrub the demo clean before releasing it, we in Europe get the ultimate shaft by getting this freaking game ONE WHOLE WEEK after the US does. What does that mean when no one on the internet can shut up for a second? A ruined experience.
Seriously, they NEED to go over the PR on Pokémon games once more, there are a lot of problems that could've been avoided. Still, I'm SO hyped for Sun and Moon I can't get any rest. (I've been playing through the entire main Pokémon franchise these past months in anticipation!)

Apparently, due to the fact that the games are out in Australia, people all over the internet are posting shit from the games unspoiled (because everywhere is Australia right?) Time to disappear off the internet, I'll be back when I reach post game on my first play through.

For some rather arcane reasons, I've kept trying to figure out a proper special attack buff for an Umbreon…

… Ironically, I think I found one by proxy via Z-Moves. Z-Fake Tears, maybe.

You see, for some reason, for a lot of those kind of moves, it seems the Z-Move form grants a complementary stat boost to a Pokémon using a stat down move on another Pokémon.

So I can deck it out thus-wise:

Dark Pulse
Psychic
Moonlight
Fake Tears

This is great… Because now I don't have to rely on moves like Foul Play or Payback, which I found too situational for my tastes. Not to mention, I personally feel Umbreon LOOKS more like a special attacker than a physical attacker.

ITS BEEN A WHOLE DAY YOU GUYS WHERE ARE YOU WHAT'S YOUR TEAM?

I'm in the middle of Mallow's trial. I hear Totem Lurantis is a bitch D: IGT has developed as follows – my nickname theme is Hawaiian in the spirit of the region.

Brionne / Kekoa lv29
Gastly / 'Uhane lv24
Charjabug / Konani lv21
Machop / Macho lv26 (in game trade for a Spearow)
Slowpoke / Kualii lv23
Wishiwashi / Kaima lv23

Been looking for a female fire lizard but all males so far :(

Well, for my team so far:
Gomamon (Primarina): Lv. 36
8Volt (Charjabug): Lv. 36
Balto (Lycanroc-Midnight): Lv. 36
Lilith (Salazzle): Lv. 35
Rose (Lurantis): Lv. 36
Mazie (Alola Persian): Lv. 33

Hate to be that guy but…

I just beat moon this evening and I was honestly pretty disappointed in the whole thing.

>constant barrage of cutscenes
>story wasn't even close to being interesting enough to justify them
>It's actually more about Lillie than you and she's pretty boring most of the time
>why couldn't Olivia drag us around instead
>most of the new pokemon are terrible stat-wise
>some are so bad they're even tough to use in easy battles
>boxed my fucking Incineroar because of this like halfway through
>No victory road or "dungeon maze" kind of areas to speak of
>Trials replaced gyms, but don't have puzzle elements like gyms did
>The world is fucking tiny
>Mostly just wild Raticates and Pelipers everywhere
>New pokemon are rare as fuck, especially the ones you gotta fish for
>Fishing also sucks now
>framerate gets fucked to shit during double battles
>No 3D
>gotta wait for fucking Bank AGAIN

Some good things though:

>Tsareena is cool and good
>dunno if that'll be the case competitively but I'm willing to give her a chance online
>Toxapex, the dumb pink bear, a couple of the tapus and some Ultrabeasts will probably be viable for competitive use
>Totem pokes were fun to fight
>Guzma
>No HMs
>Watch them go back to HMs next time though because fuck good ideas
>some insane shit happens when pokemon call for help sometimes but most of the time it's just annoying
>Like apparently sometimes Bagon will call for low level Salamence right there on route 3

That's something I'll be fucking around with while I'm waiting for Bank I guess, but I'm bummed out because I was waiting for things to get more fun over the last two days and all that really happened was "muh narrative". Maybe it's just me but story is the last fucking thing I want when I'm playing a pokemon game.

Once I realized my usual tendency of "use all the things useful for current/next boss" turned out to be pointless since I ended up just using one of them, I settled on something about halfway through Island 2.

Incineroar, Raichu, Vulpix, Zygarde, Lycanroc, and Decidueye.

… And then I realized that new Raichu has lousy Defence… So out that went, and promptly replaced with the legendary Lunala. (I later also switched out Decidueye for Sillvally.)

So as of this moment, its like this:

Female Incineroar "Lyrica" Lvl 69
Female Ninetails (Gotten in a trade) Lvl 73
Female Midnight Lycanrock "Roxy" Lvl 65
Lunala "Luna" Lvl 63 ("Luna's Lunala, Luna" try to say that three times fast.)
100% Zygarde "Zephyr" Lvl 58
Sillvally "Silver" Lvl 45

And now for a note that requires an explicit spoiler:

So, there's this event in post game, where you sort of flip dimensions to check out this alternate Lake of the Sunne/Moone, and you get Cosmog there.

Now, the alternate dimension thing raises questions for me… Like, if I evolve Rockuff or Cosmoem there, do they become the alt version counterpart or not?

And if not, then I'm screwed if I want my Cosmog to evolve into Solgaleo… Especially if I've grown attached to it and even named it Apollo, hoping it will become a Solgaleo.

Then again, the "catch them all" thing is kinda screwed now anyways, given that with evolving legenaries, its now more difficult than ever to make sure you have one of every Pokemon to hand over to the next gen.

… Yes I am thinking that far ahead.

Meanwhile, in Anime Land:

The art shift is less jarring in context… It goes real comedic at times, and real insane the next. Its like if the crew from Mad House that made Soul Eater, and a couple of guys from Studio Trigger/Gainax decided "Hey, let's make a Pokémon anime".

XYZ was passionate and filled with super powered Pokemon, but it at least had a pretence of being serious because it had some semblance of stakes and narrative inertia even to the last episode.

Sun and Moon takes a different approach, though not nessacarily better or worse; it feels like they've cut out the middle man of "the plot" and decided to on one hand distil Pokémon down to its purest essence, and then drown you in that essence by taking it far beyond any logical conclusion and into "PIERCE THE HEAVENS WITH YOUR DRILL!!!" territory.

Especially since compared to Mega Evolution which feels like its powered by how "in the zone" someone is, Z-Moves are kinda like a Kamehameha powered by pure hot blooded spirit. Which means that the two times they've used it already wouldn't seem out of place in an episode of Gurren Lagann.

From an intellectual side though, it did give us an idea how strong legendaries are in universe, since Tapu Koko took one of those Z-Moves that looked like it could blow a hole in the moon, and it wasn't even scratched.

I found something surprising… Despite Rockruff having version exclusive evolutions, for some reason I found a Midday Lycanrock in Pokémon Moon.

I'm sorry, what? How?

Maybe the exclusiveness only applies to evolution.

My Moon team will be Decidueye, Lycanroc N, Toxapex, Mimikyu, A Sandslash (calling it Snowslash), and Kommo-o.

So far I got half of my team (Dartrix, Lycanroc N, Mareanie), and I just got to the third island.
