So, i'm considering on getting one of the DLCs for New Vegas. Which one you guys would recommend?

I guess from personal experience

  • Dead Money- Everyone I talked to said that this was their least favorite. One friends who loves Fallout stuff said that he regretted buying it. You don't get to use any of your old inventory (bare minimum weapons and health packs in the area) and you have have a collar on your neck that will explode if you get too close to radios or certain speakers. Considered extremely very to play through compared to Fallout: New Vegas. Very serious tone with little humor. Cannot return to DLC area when quest is done.
  • Honest Hearts- This one is okay, but not really all that memorable, with the exception of the legend of the burning man. Still, it doesn't focus on that as much as I might like. You have a weight limit on old inventory you can take with you. (75 normally, 100 with strong back or pack rat). Fairly similar in terms of difficulty and seriousness to the rest of Fallout: New Vegas Can not return to DLC area when quest is done.
  • Old World Blues- Very bizarre and silly and the most noteworthy IMO. No weight limit on entering, and many of the most memorable characters in all of Fallout:New Vegas are here. While stuff in the Fallout universe can be a little ridiculous at times, this really seems to push it. Because this DLC is good and often hilarious, however, it seems to be okay. Can return to DLC area when quest is done, and has some side quests that are optional.
  • Lonesome Road- A serious one that gives the courier back story. The one major difference between this and the others is that you can turn back if you decide you don't want to continue up to a certain point. As the name suggests, it is lonesome: plenty of aggressive NPCs, but only two characters that will actually talk with you. IMO more difficult than the average Fallout: New Vegas gameplay, but not as much as Dead Money. Can not return to DLC area when quest is done.
  • Gun Runners' Arsenal- I guess this one counts as a DLC. It's not bad, but it just adds things like more weapons and weapon mods.

If you only get one, I would recommend Old World Blues because it feels so unique compared to the main game and is IMO, the most fun. However, if you plan to get the others later, you might have higher expectations because if it.
