Neither of them, switch to the superior B.Va skin.

I have finally bought this game and I can say that it is everything I ever dreamed of and more. I can't believe how long I hesitated at making this purchase, because there is no way I'll regret it. Fantastic game, all around.

If you want, you can add me on battle.net, Elreigh#1753. I warn you, though: I suck at this game. I do have tons of fun either way, even in losing.

I hate yellow just like my hate on the banana hat on tf2

Me when playing the various characters:

Genji: Where am I?
Mccree: [haven't played enough]
Pharah: WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE--
>shot out of the sky
Reaper: oh wow, I actually got that kill.
Soldier 76: "Am I a real CoD player yet?" "No."
Tracer: >died because he didn't recall

Bastion: >sit in corner
>play a shooting gallery
>die
>switch character
Hanzo: i miss every non-ult shot. wonderful.
Junkrat: shoot randomly from the back and hope something dies.
Mei: "It's like the Pyro from TF2 combined with Donald Trump! Normally, I hate Trump, but in this case, I'll make the exception."
Torbjorn: I suck at turret building.
Widowmaker: I'd love playing as this character if I weren't terrible at sniping.

D.va: "Shinji, get back in the fucking robot!"
Reinhardt: swing wildly and hope someone dies.
Roadhog: I suck at roadhog.
Winston: No.
Zarya: "is my lazar killing anything? no? fine."

Lucio: "idk what I'm doing"
Mercy: "plz run faster"
Symetra: No.
Zenyatta: "I have several questions: Number one, in what way is this a support character? Number two, why do I keep dying to this little shit? number three--" "STFU NOOB GO BACK TO BATTLESNORE"

10/10

Widow maker mains are honestly starting to fucking piss me off. You know that guy, the one who picks sniper no matter what game mode, no matter what map, no matter what team comp, no matter how awful they are.

Bad Widows are in every fucking match I play, they sit in the back getting like 1 kill per minute not helping to cap at all and just generally begin worthless. Even when the pay load is inches away from capping they refuse to switch to help cuz Mah KD.

I honestly wish she wasn't in the game now

If you add me let me know its you.
We can group up if you want to.

I may not play as much due to my college summer semester just starting this week, also considering I bought another game, but I usually play often. I try to join some communities and try to friend anyone else that has a mic, though I end up playing solo a lot of times.

Same here. Add me if you can, I’m DEAD-X (I still regret this). I might move on to PC but the standard edition’s price is $70 in Australia, so I’ll just be waiting for a price drop if it ever happens.

So, anyone else high enough level or match make ranked high enough to be paired with a bunch of salty players? God, I want rank games to be implemented as quickly as possible. Tired of people leaving mid game, trash talking, and having snipers galore. (Seriously, I went from hating Mei and McCree to being so annoyed at WidowMakers. It's like everyone who played as snipers in previous fps genres flocked to her. No one even bothers to go after them either.)

I've been having some issues with Overwatch as of late. It's not with anything in-game, but it's more a hardware issue.

I'm not sure if it's my computer that's the issue, but Overwatch seems a bit prone to crashing on the PC. I've had my computer freeze up about 7 times these past two weeks, and all but 1 were while I was playing Overwatch. The game runs smoothly while I'm playing it, so I'm not sure if it's the game's fault or my computer's fault.

On a brighter note, if anyone wants to add me as a friend on Overwatch, my username for Battle.net is Snarbolaxmon#1175. I like to use Junkrat and Reinhardt, though I've been trying to get into using other heroes.

A new patch.

Basically: They've massively nerfed McCree, reducing the damage per shot on his alt-fire (Fan the Hammer) from 70 to 45. And they've nerfed Widowmaker, reducing bodyshot damage from 150 to 120 (making it impossible to one-shot anybody from full health without a headshot) and increased the charge cost of her ult by 10%.

They need to fix the hitboxes in this game. I've been killed by headshots from people shooting at my feet or shooting at nothing but air.

The last game i played i decided to keep track. Of all the times i was head shot only about 3 of those aimed up. Every other time were people shooting at my feet. The fucking, a pharah got a head shot from shooting at my feet, torbjorn got a headshot from shooting at my lower torso. And thats only scratching the surface.

I was under the impression that Pharah, even when hitting you in the face with a rocket, does not deal extra damage. That is to say, no crits for headshots. I could be wrong, but this is what I have been told.

Besides that, you're absolutely right, and this is especially bad with Hanzo. I don't think I've ever seen a killcam of Hanzo even remotely aiming at me. And this is true even of bodyshots. His arrows seem to have magnetic tips.

I really wish I was better at sniping. Pharahs generally take a dump on teams I'm on and sometimes a Soldier 76 isn't good enough. I went up against a team with 2 Pharahs and whenever I killed one the next one would get me.

Something has been kinda bugging me about Overwatch. Why does it have a backstory at all if it won't use it?

See with a game like TF2 the maps reflect the story. When you are pushing a payload to the goal the payload is a bomb and the destination is a military target.

Overwatch's maps don't seem to be involved with anything. One of them is a giant lightbulb on a tank, next it is a jet, next it is a limo. What does this have to do with the backstory to the game?

Why not make the backstory something like "Overwatch" being some kind of combat arena game that was super popular but got dismantled because of the dangers to the participants. Then some shady company brings it back and brings in old talent and new talent together. Reaper and Widowmaker being evil could work for this corporation and the "good guys" could be trying to figure out what is going on from the inside. That would at least explain why the maps seem to make no sense in regards to the backstory, as well as explain why Reaper and Winston will work together.

This is how I see it: Ingame the backstory is unimportant because we're simply there to have fun. Nothing that happens ingame matters to the canon because it is all players having nonsensical adventures with their favorite heroes. It is much like a child's action figures; what games you play at home with your toys do not matter to the franchise as a whole or the story that is being formed on the 'big screen.' Just because I can make Captain America and Batman fight each other because I have toys of both of them does not mean that such will happen in a future movie. Trying to reconcile differences between the canon and what games we play with the franchise's toys is just silly, when you think about it this way.

The thing about your TF2 example is that the game actually didn't have a story until the release of the comics. Hell, there was no official design for the announcer until a fan drawing turned up and Valve hired the artist to do the TF2 comics. So there was literally 3 years in between TF2 actually having a story vs mercenaries who fight each other just because. In fact, Payload wasn't even a mode until a whole year after release of the game.

Also I don't know if you noticed but not only will characters make references to the animated shorts, there also are references in the maps themselves. On Numbani the thing you're supposed to escort is the fist that was used in the short where Tracer/Winston fought Widowmaker/Reaper. Watchpoint: Gibraltor starts in Winston's lab, Hanamura is the home of the Shimada Clan (i.e. Genji and Hanzo's home complete with the memorial for Genji on the last point), King's Row has a memorial for Zenyatta's brother where he got shot by Widowmaker, etc.

It's funny that you bring up TF2 as an example because that is exactly the type of storytelling they are using (animated shorts, comics, maps related to the shorts, character dialogue).

Yes. I've already added everyone who's posted their Battle.net name in this thread so it shouldn't be hard.

TripleA9000 wrote:

So my battle.net is TripleA9000#1627

But i dont have the game for bc. So i guess that info is kinda useless.

Okay the thing with people saying that the microtransactions are just cosmetics and wont affect the gameplay is really pissing me off. I think Jim Sterling said it the best that everybody wants to look unique. Yes it does not affect the gameplay, but you can't say that you wouldn't take a free skin if one was offered to you.

Also I really hope they make the lootboxes easier to get, these stickers are ruining me.

I really hate that leveling up and paying straight cash are the only ways to get loot boxes. They should do things like ingame challenges and when you complete them you get loot boxes, that would be nice.

Every time you hit level 100 in the game you start back at level 1, so I think its drop rate isn't actually that bad.
Plus its not even something your supposed to care about, its simply just a "hey thanks for playing our game for a few hours heres a box of goodies"
Also you level up every 1-3 hours so the drop rate isn't even bad when you get between the 75s and 100s.

That only happens to me when I have other things open at the same time like firefox or something else that takes up a lot of memory. Otherwise it's fine.

LMAO I joined a game and the chat was full of people writing a bunch of BLM stuff then the team came out and were all Lucio and they started dancing. When ever someone killed one of them they all typed in the chat "Hands up don't shoot"

Then when they were defending they picked all mei and told everyone to not fat shame them

My fucking sides were hurting from laugh so much. I love this game so much.
