I personally haven't, I'm likely not gonna pick up either for at least another year or so. For one they're both hard to find right now, I doubt I'd even be able to get one this year. Second my current living situation leaves me with less room than I used to have so more consoles is something I probably shouldn't think about until I'm able to get an apartment first. Plus by waiting a year or two first I'll avoid the possibility of running into the sort of "first year defects" that almost always crop up when a system launches.

I'm probably not gonna pick one up until maybe late next year. Right now there aren't really any games that tickle my fancy and I'm content with my PS4 and Switch.
Plus I think it's just generally a bad idea to pick up a console on launch day, history has shown that they tend to be pretty buggy on release.
PS2 recalled on launch in Japan
Also I live in the UK so I wouldn't be able to get it until next week anyhow.
I don't think I will until the next year or the year after that. In any case, I already have far too many games collecting dust that require my attention.

PS5 probably next summer.
I’ll most likely get an Xbox series x in the summer
Probably get the PS5 when they iron out any of the bugs and shortcomings the console has that can be found after launch. Of course, I'd get it only for Demon's Souls and the Miles Morales game. More so if it's backward compatible with PS4 games and they got some other interesting games for the console that aren't gonna have PC or Switch ports. Otherwise, I'm not interested in getting my hands on the console.

PS5 at some point. Xbox has pretty much no games I'm interested in.

I'm inclined toward PS5, but I refrain from buying hardware of any kind on launch day. That's just asking for a faulty product.
