Starting this Tuesday 12:30PM PST will be the annual Golden Joystick Awards 2020. Due to the coronavirus killing too many people, this year is going to be a livestream event online. You can catch it on Twitch and YouTube to see who wins.

Critics Choice was Hades while Fans Pick was TLOU2. Based on history, this seems to be a jinx for The Game Awards.
This year's Golden Joystick Awards feels rigged with all the awards serving TLOU2 on a silver platter. I bet Neil Druckmann must be so smug on winning that he's smelling his "male feminist ally" farts.

These awards pretty much exist for marketing anyway, so I would not too much faith into them. I remember hearing that Hayao Miyazaki has little respect for the Oscar's; I am unsure how true that is, but I agree with it regardless. I think the same applies here.

Even when focusing on ports of previously exclusives alone – there are much better picks such as Horizon Zero Dawn and The Wonderful 101
