Again it should be noted this doesn't confirm Epic actually got the okay from Nintendo to put Samus into the game like Sony did with Kratos and Aloy, or Microsoft with Master Chief, it at least shows they attempted it.

There are apparently some other details this court docs reveal that kind of give a look into some other gaming industry stuff but those are probably for another thread at another time.

Unrelated to the court case but I feel like Epic should've tried to focus on getting games not on PC ported rather than snatching up games that were planned for PC. There are many games that aren't on PC like Sonic Unleashed, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Castlevania Rondo of Blood, etc.

I'm guessing Nintendo likely has declined permission because they likely weren't comfortable with their own character appearing on other consoles, I mean they got angry when the Marvel Ultimate Alliance devs showed off gameplay of Link and Samus on the PS2 version.

Also what reaction would you have if Epic Games got to port Nintendo games to PC?

Fuck Apple fuck their monopolistic bullshit I hope Epic wins and helps small businesses benefit from greater freedoms and fewer profit restrictions like Apple imposes.

Fortnite might benefit from a spin-off game at this point. I'd consider a racing variant of their game Banjo-Kazooie Nuts&Bolts style. They could even throw in a Banjo Kazooie skin to piss people off it'd be the best.

Anyway, pretty sure people would immediately make sexual memes of Samus if she were added so that is a rather hefty loss for us.
