Lost Judgment may end up being the last game in Yakuza spin-off series because of an overbearing talent agency

I'll post this clip from a Castle Superbeat stream that goes over the topic in detail:

But the sorta short of it is this: Sega really wants to bring the Judgment series to PC, as they've been having success with bringing the mainline Yakuza games to that platform, but the talent agency that represents the lead actor for the series doesn't want that at all and because of this it seems Lost Judgment might end up being the last game in this still pretty new Yakuza spin-off series. Why does this agency not want the game on PC? Because they're extremely overbearing and want to control how their talent's likeness is "distributed," and they seem to view PCs as a platform where they'd have the least control. Never mind the PS4 and 5 have "share" functionalities and whatnot that's not too different from what people on PC can do.

Even short explanation: ancient Japanese businessmen dinosaurs being ancient Japanese businessmen dinosaurs.

If there's one thing I learned about the Japanese entertainment industry's red-tape since their revival in the postwar era, it's that they have a terrifying knack to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
