EDIT: title has a typo. It should be Opinions ON Wisecrack…
Mod Edit: fixed

Well I might as well ask because it does seem like an interesting channel, and because It seem to be something that the community might be familiar with.

From what I gathered, the channel started with Thug Notes. Where works of literature are described and analyzed by a..well the title gives it away. From there it expanded to include 8-Bit Philosophy, which usually uses retro game imagery to explain philosophers and their ideas (with the occasional political discussion…), Wisecrack editions with analyses specific forms of media and explains their philosophy and Earthling Cinema, which is like Thug Notes, but instead of a black guy and literature, its an alien and film instead.

I'm not much of a fan of 8bit philosophy's presentation method. I feel like it's novelty that doesn't serve much of a purpose. Their material is solid, though; there's a very clear Marxist slant, but that's basically unavoidable in any discussion of philosophy that includes modern philosophers.

Earthling cinema is perfect. Haven't seen Thug notes.
