App That Destroy All Opps / Aye Boy, I Just Got That New iPhone refers to a race-swapped "hood" The Fairly OddParents fan-made parody video in which a Black Mr. Turner says to his son, Timmy Turner, "Aye boy, I just got that new iPhone. It even got an app that destroy all opps." The original video, titled "The Black OddParents," was created by YouTuber MoonGangDaze in January 2020.

In late 2025, the clip resurfaced en masse on Twitter / X and Instagram Reels, sparking memetic use of its catchphrases, which were commonly inserted into exploitable templates or phrasal templates. The video was also remixed into YTPs and YTPMVs. Its use was reminiscent of other Hood Irony trends based on race-swapped cartoon parodies like SpongeBob Tries to Sell Candy in Memphis.

Origin

On January 10th, 2020, YouTuber^[1] MoonGangDaze uploaded a video, called "The Black OddParents," which was a parody of the Nickelodeon animated show The Fairly OddParents in which the protagonist, Timmy Turner, and his family were Black instead of white. The video showed Timmy walking into his home, where he's greeted by his dad, Mr. Turner, who says, "Aye boy, I just got that new iPhone. It even got an app that destroy all opps." Over five years, the video received over 53,800 views and 2,700 likes.

The clip notably resurfaced years later, on October 27th, 2025, when X^[2] user @SThebulbmin reposted it, gaining over 9,500 likes in two months.

On October 28th, Instagram^[3] user @___________________________soz reposted the clip, gaining over 1,100 likes in two months.

In late October 2025, the clip resurfaced several times on X, like on October 30th, when X^[4] user @MuskIsAHagNBMF shared it and on October 31st, when the official X^[5] account of iFunny shared it. Each gained over 1,700 likes and 2,100 likes, respectively, over two months.

On November 16th, 2025, X^[6] user @EllyDelux tweeted a long string of letters, meant to be an acronym for the dialogue in the App That Destroy All Opps clip. They then quote-tweeted their post, attaching the clip, gaining over 16,000 likes in 18 days.

On November 17th, X^[7] user @jswimreal tweeted a video that showed several characters, like Freddy Fazbear and Baldi, thinking of the App That Destroy All Opps video in thought bubbles. Over 17 days, the video gained roughly 6,400 likes.

On November 26th, 2025, X^[9] user @emeraldappul tweeted the original The Fairly OddParents scene that the App That Destroy All Opps parody was based on, gaining over 9,000 likes in eight days.

Later on that same day, X^[11] user @CorenYoung quote-tweeted @emeraldappul's post, writing, "I cannot see this scene normally anymore 😭," receiving over 6,100 likes in eight days.

On November 28th, X^[8] user @heytherenrds tweeted fan art based on the Adult Swim cartoon Smiling Friends, showing the characters Charlie and Pim as Timmy Turner and Mr. Turner in the App That Destroy All Opps video. Over six days, the post earned over 17,000 likes.

On November 30th, 2025, X^[10] user @NintendoGCN shared a YTPMV using the App That Destroy All Opps video, gaining over 11,000 likes in four days.
