Origin

On April 6th, 2018, an anonymous Yahoo! Answers ^[1] user wrote in the Newborn & Baby section, "Are you tired of being nice? Don't you just want to go ape shitt." The post received more than 35 answers (shown below).

Spread

The following day, Tumblr ^[5] user 1892-remade posted the image. The post received more than 141,000 notes in 14 months.

On October 17th, 2018, Tumblr^[2] user toastoat posted a screenshot of the question with the caption "This is a baby asking this to other babies." The post received more than 141,000 notes in less than one year (shown below, left).

On December 17th, 2018, Twitter ^[3] user @mangorijima tweeted, "'Are you tired of being nice? don't you just wanna go apeshit?' is basically every single P5 awakening, if you really think about it." The post received more than 3,300 likes and 1,400 retweets in less than one year (shown below, right).

Two days later, Redditor ^[4] GriffonsChainsaw posted an image of the Nintendo character Daisy saying it to the Nintendo character Peach in the /r/TrollXChromosomes. The post received more than 3,900 points (99% upvoted) and 50 comments (shown below).
