On May 30th, 2026, Instagram user Lachlan Buchan (@lachlanbuchn) posted a video of a himself doing exactly this, racking up over 1M views and 100K likes in under 24 hours and spreading across every major platform shortly after. The trend is still emerging, with people now filming and sharing their own versions from screenings.
