Barf Simmons or Barf Symptons is a series of The Simpsons memes using a creepypasta-like horror aesthetic based around a blue, elongated version of the character Bart Simpson, referred to as Barf Simmons and sometimes Barf Symptons.

The character started appearing on the Barf Symptons TikTok page in early July 2026 and became increasingly popularized throughout August. Memes about Barf Simmons include edits in which low-quality clips from shows like Family Guy are altered to include Barf.

Origin

On July 7th, 2026, TikToker^[1] @barfsymptons posted a grainy image of an altered version of Bart Simpson, where he appears with blue skin, a green shirt, and an elongated neck. He is standing in an alleyway at night. The post gained over 1,600 views in a month and is the earliest known Barf Simmons meme.

The TikToker continued to post Barf Simmons memes over the following weeks, including similar images and more elaborate video edits.

For example, on August 16th, the TikToker^[2] posted an edit of the Robert Loggia meme that features Bart Simmons, gaining over 1.2 million views in five days.

On August 17th, 2026, the TikToker^[3] posted another video edit in which Bart Simpson encounters Barf Simmons, garnering over 784,000 views in four days.
