"Bitch, please" -- occasionally *"N*gga Please"* -- is an image macro often seen around the web. it is used when someone claims to be superior at something, but well deserves to be countered by someone else who is way superior.
Origin
The phrase has existed long before the internet, and was never associated with image macros in the first place. According to Urban Dictionary, the term bitch please originates from "amongst inner-city prostitution rings," in the 70s. And while it is used as a tongue-in-cheek reply nowadays, it carried a connotation of violence and hostility back in the day[1].
Spread
The phrase has received world wide recognition once rage comics became mainstream due to the rage face aptly named 'bitch please,' which is an image of a crudely drawn face of professional basketball player Yao Ming represented alongside the titular phrase.
Multiple colorful definitions of the phrase have been submitted to Urban Dictionary[1].
