Crystalynn_8 Making a Red Bull Drink refers to a viral video posted by TikTok user Crystalynn (@crystalynn_8) in which she makes a non-alcoholic Red Bull drink to have at work, the retail store Shoe Carnival. In order, Crystalynn applies hand sanitizer from a keychain on her lanyard, pumps blue curacao, green apple and another Torani syrup into a glass of ice, cracks open a sugar-free Red Bull using the bottom of another can to open the tab, mixes the drink and then pours it into a Starbucks tumbler. Notably, Crystalynn is seen in the clip with blonde-dyed hair, long manicured nails, a black T-shirt and an Apple Watch.

The original video was posted in May 2023. In the following years, such as in late 2025, it was reposted on social media sites like Twitter / X, where users praised it for being soothing and satisfying, comparing it to ASMR. The Crystalynn video was largely promoted by LGBTQ+ and female Stan Twitter users, who championed her in viral posts.

On May 14th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @crystalynn_8 shared a video of herself making a Red Bull drink. She's seen applying hand sanitizer, adding Torani syrups and sugar-free Red Bull, and eventually placing the drink inside a Starbucks tumbler. Over two years, the video received over 199,100 likes.

On June 10th, 2023, X^[2] user @hydratedangel reposted the abovementioned video, captioning it, "I just know she's running that shoe carnival like the navy," which riffed on the I Know She Be Running A McDonald's Like It's The Navy catchphrase. Over two years, the post received over 22.1 million views and 132,000 likes.

The abovementioned tweet received several viral quote-tweets on X^[3][4] in the following days.

On December 27th, 2024, Brazilian X^[5] user @acervogeral posted Crystalynn_8's video, adding a descriptive caption so that others could find the video for memetic use on the platform. The post gained over 12,000 likes in a year.

Several Portuguese-speaking X users used @acervogeral's video for viral posts heading into May 2025, such as X^[6] user @theguiltylakes on May 23rd, 2025, gaining over 2,600 likes in seven months. The tweet was about Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour."

On June 10th, X^[7] user @dale_xcx posted the original video, captioning it, "Her using a Red Bull can to open another wow…. her mind." Over six months, the video received roughly 117,000 likes.

On October 29th, 2025, TikToker^[8] @francheez.it shared a video of herself dressed as Crystalynn_8 as a Gay Halloween costume, per a hashtag on the video, showing herself reenacting the original video. Over two months, it received over 245,900 likes.

On November 29th, X^[9] user @houstonbone posted the original video, captioning it, "A.I. will never create anything as watchable as this video," gaining over 153,000 likes in two days.
