For those of you that may have missed it and/or are wondering why this is tending (not that I'm not helping contribute through this comment, oops…) at ~4AM U.S. Central a user with the handle "Naegeria" was posting 6 uncensored GIFs of a creampie followed by Rickroll. They were spamming and deleting the same comment on trending articles including this, Harambe, the World Cup, etc. causing some of them to trend.

It was always nice to see them go "GamerGate is dead" about once per day. It's even better to see them go "GamerGate is dead" years after the fact and actually waking it up.

Gamergate will never end. Pro-Gamergate has no business sway or political sway. As much as I love watching a good shitstorm I've long run out of popcorn and I've long run out of interest in the same moments being played on repeat ad nauseam. It's had a good run but much like The Thing it doesn't need a part 2.
