TMZ^[2] reported that a spokesperson for Royal Netherlands Marechaussee military police confirmed they "arrested an American woman for possessing 'soft drugs'." BBC^[3] also confirmed Minaj's arrest, stating that she was arrested on suspicion of exporting soft drugs before being fined 350 euros (£300; $380) and allowed to continue her journey.
