Telbo Rackins / Team_Whitegirls Fatally Shot by White Girlfriend Story refers to the death of a Black man named Telvin "Telbo Rackins" Osborne who was fatally shot by his white girlfriend, Hannah Grace Cobb, in Georgia in February 2025. Telbo Rackins went by Team_Whitegirls (@RackinsTelbo) on Twitter / X, and after his death, X users scoured his digital footprint and discovered his unabashed preference for white women and vehement dislike of Black women. Hashtags like "#TeamWhitegirls" were commonplace in his tweets circa 2014 and 2015. His Facebook posts also resurfaced, like an alleged one in which he said he'd rather sleep with a dog before a Black woman. The dichotomy between his love for white women and his death at the hands of a white woman led to viral memes, posts and discourse on Twitter in February 2025. On Facebook, Telbo Rackins' brother, Roderick Osborne Williams, accused Cobb of killing Rackins intentionally.

Background

On February 23rd, 2025, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident that occurred near Waynesboro, Georgia. 30-year-old Telvin "Telbo Rackins" Osborne had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest allegedly fired by his girlfriend Rachel Cobb on accident when she was purportedly cleaning the gun. Osborne was pronounced dead at the hospital. He and Cobb had five children together at the time of his death.^[1]

On February 23rd, Telbo Rackins' brother, Roderick Osborne Williams, reacted to his death in a Facebook^[2] post that received over 330 reactions in three days (shown below).

Online Reactions

Many internet users started to speculate if Cobb intentionally killed Telbo Rackins. For instance, on February 25th, 2025, X^[3] user @FlagBlack007 claimed that Hannah Cobb was "My cousin's girlfriend." They alleged that "Hannah Cobb killed him Sunday morning and is claiming that she got drunk at the club and came home to clean her gun at 5 am and it 'accidentally' went off. Her dad is a cop and currently she has not been charged." The post gained over 10,000 likes in a day (shown below).

Roderick Osborne Williams reposted and echoed similar claims on Facebook.^[4]

As the news went viral on social media, internet users looked through Telbo Rackins' old Facebook posts and tweets and discovered his adoration of white women and his contempt for Black women.

For instance, on February 25th, X^[5] user @4BlackMenOnly tweeted a screenshot of an alleged 2014 Facebook post from user Tevin Tremaine D Lakes who reposted a post allegedly from Telbo Rackins in which he said he'd have sex with a dog before a Black woman (shown below).

On February 26th, 2025, X^[6] user @crackcobain__ tweeted, "Nigga that got killed by that white lady digital footprint is HORRIBLE," referencing Telbo Rackins, gaining over 57,000 likes in a few hours (shown below).

The abovementioned tweet started a viral thread of resurfacing old tweets from Telbo Rackins' Twitter account called Team_Whitegirls (@RackinsTelbo). For example, X^[7] user @crackcobain__ quote tweeted an old Team_Whitegirls tweet,^[8] captioning it, "Whole page is frying me," gaining over 2,200 likes in a few hours (shown below).
