Overview

The Streamer Awards Fanfan Diddy Joke Controversy and The Streamer Awards 2025 Bathroom Incident refers to allegations by streamer and content creator TheStockGuy that he overheard someone who he believes to be the streamer Dezz (btbdezzz) threatening violence against streamer and 2025 Streamer Awards co-host Fanfan because she made a joke comparing streamer Kai Cenat to disgraced rapper and entrepreneur Diddy during the event. The awards show took place on December 6th, 2025, during which Fanfan made the joke, which plays off a meme in Cenat's community. In response, fellow streamer Tylil took the mic to criticize Fanfan for the joke, calling it unfunny.

Later that night, TheStockGuy, while in the bathroom at the event, allegedly overheard someone talking to another man and threatening violence against Fanfan. TheStockGuy shared the allegation during a stream and, on Discord, wrote that he believed it was Dezz, a streamer close to Kai Cenat and his group. Dezz denied the severity of the accusations, claiming he was just joking with a friend and that TheStockGuy lied about the specifics of what he said. TheStockGuy later stated he received harassment and death threats for making the accusations, with Fanfan also being harassed by fans of Cenat in the following days for making the joke.

Background

Diddy Joke

On December 6th, 2025, the fifth annual Streamer Awards, an awards show for streamers founded and hosted by Twitch streamer QTCinderella, took place. Fellow streamer Fanfan co-hosted the event. At one point, Fanfan walked over to Kai Cenat's table and made a joke about his Streamer University event being the "least educational university," followed by a joke comparing him to Diddy for his haircut.[1]

After making the joke, streamer Tylil, who is closely involved with Cenat and his circle, was handed the mic and criticized Fanfan for making the joke, calling it unfunny.

The joke references a popular inside joke in Kai Cenat's community, in which Cenat's fans and friends make fun of his new haircut by claiming that it makes him look like Diddy.[2]

Developments

TheStockGuy's Allegations

On December 8th, 2025, Twitch[3] streamer TheStockGuy spoke about Tylil's response to Fanfan's joke about Kai Cenat. In the clip, he claims that, during an intermission, he went to the bathroom and overheard "some guy" talking about Fanfan's joke.

According to TheStockGuy, the person was making violent and sexual threats towards Fanfan. TheStockGuy claims that he asked if they were all good, and one man said, "he's just from New York." The clip was shared by X[4] / Twitter user @Awk20000 (yeet) that day, garnering over 2,300 likes and 230,000 views in two days.

As the allegations went viral, streamers and people in general began speculating on who TheStockGuy was talking about. Some believed it was Tylil due to his reaction to the jokes towards Cenat, with others believing it might be streamer Dezz, or both Tylil and Dezz.

Tylil later denied the allegations during a stream, claiming he and Dezz were never in the bathroom at the same time. Clips of his denials were posted by X[5][6] user @Awk20000 on December 8th.

On December 9th, 2025, a screenshot purportedly taken from TheStockGuy's Discord channel started spreading online.[7] The screenshot shows TheStockGuy claiming that he's "99.9% sure" that it was Dezz who made the comments about Fanfan.

That day, X[8] user @yoxics posted a clip from a stream between YourRage and Silky in which they call on Dezz to address the allegations, garnering over 6,200 likes in a day.

Later on December 9th, a post was made to the /r/LivestreamFail[9] subreddit from TheStockGuy's stream in which he claims he's getting death threats for making the bathroom comment allegations.

Dezz's Statement

On December 9th, 2025, Dezz responded to the allegations during a Twitch[10] stream. In the clip, he admits that he told his friend, in the bathroom, that Fanfan "sucked Kai's dick with teeth," but denies threatening her with violence or assault and accuses TheStockGuy of lying. The clip was reposted by X[11] user @Awk20000 that day, garnering over 300 likes in a day.

Fanfan's Response

On December 10th, 2025, Redditor Regular_Flatworm1395 posted a video to the /r/LivestreamFail[12] subreddit scrolling through several messages purportedly shared by Fanfan in her Discord channel.

In the messages, Fanfan claims she will discuss the joke during her stream. She writes that she was just reading from a teleprompter, but regrets not going off-script. She also claims that she apologized to Kai Cenat personally, writing that he's the only person she needs to apologize to.
