The video received over 2.9 million views, 349,000 likes, 120,000 shares and 4,600 comments in five days.

On January 1st, 2026, koair6213 then posted a cropped version of the meme on his TikTok^[2] with no caption, receiving over 395,000 views, 54,000 likes and 760 comments in four days.

Spread

The Eye of Horus meme then organically spread on TikTok and other social media platforms in early January 2026 as it continued garnering virality.

For instance, on January 1st, 2026, Facebook^[3] user Dudewithcoolusername uploaded a still image of Eye of Horus with the caption, "First niche meme of 2026," receiving over 300 reactions, 70 shares and 15 comments in four days.

On January 2nd, Rashad Bowens then acknowledged the meme and posted about it on his official kingshiporus TikTok^[4] account, captioned "Day 1 of bringing eyeofrah back as Horus," garnering over 392,000 views, 38,000 likes and 860 comments in three days.

That same day, TikToker^[5] lkgainss uploaded a video discussing the Eye of Horus meme, receiving over 532,000 views, 35,500 likes and 2,400 comments in three days.

Also on January 2nd, 2026, Instagram^[6] user witherw_ posted an Eye of Horus edit, accumulating over 400 likes in a similar timeframe.
