On April 20th, 2026, TikTok^[1] user @the.doh.account.off (The D'Oh Account) uploaded an AI-generated song about Homer Simpson encountering mild inconveniences and reacting with his signature "D'oh" catchphrase. The video received about 534,900 views and 42,000 likes in just over a week.

On April 24th, 2026, the same TikTok^[2] user uploaded the song again, this time with accompanying visuals. The video received over 981,100 views and 106,400 likes in about four days.

Spread

The song began to spread on TikTok over the following weeks as users on the platform feigned reverence for the AI-generated music.

On April 26th, 2026, TikTok^[3] user @femboy_v2 posted a video of rapper Eminem, taken from the movie 8 Mile, "rapping" the Homer donut song. The video received over 624,700 views and 113,600 likes in just two days.

On April 27th, 2026, TikTok^[4] user @cathalfkiwi posted the song with a dancing video and the caption, "how WE are genuinely moving to this song," which received over 485,500 views and 81,300 likes in about one day.

The same day, TikTok^[5] user @taweelteach posted an ironic video acting out the lyrics of the song. The video received over 462,300 views and 56,000 likes in less than one day.
