I Know Dada, also known as I Know Dadda or Baby, That's My Brother, Like I Know Dada and He Would Never Do Something Like That, refers to a catchphrase and viral video from TikTok in which a Black man, TikToker Stevocamp, says the aforementioned line in a POV video skit titled, "Girls protecting men with SA allegations." Posted in early October 2025, the I Know Dada video sparked several lip dub and video caption memes using the audio and video in the following weeks, commonly paired with jokes about being naively confident about understanding someone or something better than an outsider.

Origin

On October 9th, 2025, TikToker[1] @stevocamp shared a POV video skit, titled "Girls protecting men with SA allegations." In it, he plays a female character, saying, "Baby, that's my brother, like I know Dada, and he would never do something like that." Over one month, the video received over 5.5 million plays and 1.1 million likes.

Also on October 9th, @stevocamp shared the video to his Instagram,[8] @stevoclub, as a Reel, gaining over 229,200 likes over the same timeframe.

In early November 2025, others on TikTok began using @stevocamp's TikTok sound[2] en masse, such as TikToker[3] @static.systm on November 7th, who showed herself lip dubbing the audio, paired with a text overlay caption that read, "Moms when you tell them their husband touched you." Over 12 days, the video received over 66,100 likes.

On November 9th, TikToker[4] @ryusaesgf posted a similar lip dub video with the audio, paired with the caption, "How I sound defending my evil ass favorite characters when their actions are brought up." She's seen pointing to Ryusei Shido, a character from the anime and manga Blue Lock, on a flag behind her. Over 10 days, the video received over 176,700 likes.

On November 13th, 2025, TikToker[6] @swagmoneyashray shared a video in which he said that he couldn't stop saying, "I know Dada." Over six days, his video on the topic gained over 335,800 likes.

On November 15th, TikToker[5] @wearethetoptrolls posted a video caption meme with the original clip. The overlay caption read, "How I sounded defending a man who was most definitely cheating on me back to back anytime he had a chance." Over four days, the video received over 205,300 likes.

On November 16th, 2025, TikToker[7] @youwontknowitsme4 shared a video caption meme, showing @stevocamp's quote overtop an idyllic sunset background, set to the song "Go Slowly" by Radiohead. Over three days, the video received over 182,600 likes.
