"If You Grab Me, I'mma Bite You" AI Dog Video Trend refers to an AI video trend on TikTok and Instagram Reels in which AI tools are used to make dogs recreate a video by influencer and rapper Finesse2Tymes, where he says, "Don't grab me. If you grab me, I'mma bite you. I swear to god if you grab me I'mma bite the fuck out of you, you gonna let me go. I'm a dog."
The clip originates from a January 2026 TikTok Live stream by Finesse2Tymes and his girlfriend Shugga, and was first made into a meme that month. The trend was then further popularized on TikTok and Reels in May 2026.

On January 13th, 2026, rapper Finesse2Tymes and his girlfriend Shugga went live on TikTok. That day, a clip from the live stream started spreading online, where Finesse2Tymes describes how he "fights for his life" by comparing himself to a dog. The clip was posted by the Instagram[1] page mymixtapez that day, gaining over 4,200 likes in four months.
On January 26th, TikToker[2] @bityoulaughing posted an AI-generated animation of Scooby-Doo, recreating the video, garnering over 235,000 views in four months.

In May 2026, a trend was popularized on TikTok and Instagram Reels where AI video generators are used to make photographs of dogs recreate the video.
On May 17th, 2026, TikToker[3] @_jd.clips_ posted the earliest known version of the meme, which shows a dog on the couch recreating the video over the caption, "That ain't no dog it's a dawg," garnering over 18.7 million views in 10 days.
