The footage, taken by journalists from the Belarusian edition of kurjer.info, shows a man throwing a fishing rod into the river while dry grass is burning behind him and firefighters are working.

According to journalists, the video was filmed on April 13 near the Sluch River, near the city of Slutsk in the Minsk region of Belarus.

Anastasia Shvabovich, an official representative of the Minsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, confirmed that they had received a message about fire and four fire trucks were leaving for the scene. The fire was extinguished, no one was injured.

The video with the fearless and unflappable fisherman impressed netizens so much that it instantly went viral.
