The TV show "Mystery Science Theater 3000" (1989-1999) is best known for making fun of the worst movies of all time. One movie it ripped on is the French film called "Pod People". One scene that is best remembered from the film is a irrelevent scene where a song called "Burning Rubber Tires" (better known as "Idiot Control Now") is being recorded and the lyrics is hard to make out. At the end of the session, the singer is asked how it was. He simply gives the okay sign and says "It Stinks". Later on during the show, the main characters do a parody reinactment of the scene, doing the "It Stinks" right at the end as well. The two-word phrase has later appeared on other episodes as well as the internet.
