About
Keith, She Sounds Wonderful or Shut Up, Mom refers to a scene from the Key and Peele sketch "Sibling Rivalry" in which comedian Jordan Peele, playing Clive, yells, "Shut up, mom! Silence from you," after his mother compliments his brother Keith's fiancée, saying, "Keith, she sounds wonderful." The episode aired in December 2014. In October 2025, TikToker @jake.bruce.ezio posted a meme using the clip. In January 2026, the original sound for the meme became the subject of lip dubs in which participants lip-sync to Jordan Peele's shouting while displaying a funny caption about a time when they treated their mother poorly.
