On April 17th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @druskidrinker posted a video announcing the "drop" of a new slang term, "Kevin." The video claims that "Kevin" means "anything bad" and gives the usage example, "Yo bro this food is Kevin asf." The bottom of the video reads, "Gurt-who called me?" a reference to the "Gurt: Yo" meme. The post gained over 2.4 million views in four days.

The slang term "Kevin" garnered viral spread on TikTok over the following days, inspiring videos in which it is used in the proper context and becoming a spam comment. On April 18th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @goonlerthe2nd posted a video sharing the definition over a video of someone looking at a Coca-Cola bottle branded with the name "Kevin," garnering over 2.4 million views in three days.

On April 19th, TikToker^[3] @hardnsoft10 posted a video playing into the Crazy Cattle 3D meme in which they casually use the term "Kevin," garnering over 950,000 views in two days.

Yogurt / Gurt: Yo, also known as Yo Gurt / Gurt: Yo, refers to a pun on the word "yogurt," which morphs it into a conversation of someone saying, "Yogurt," and a character named "Gurt" responding, "Yo." The joke dates back as far as 2012, but didn't gain viral acclaim until 2025. The meme went viral on TikTok in March and April 2025, via a series of JuggTok videos that mutated the conversation into a phrasal template. Meme creators replaced the words, commonly having Gurt respond with "What's up twin," or "SYBAU." Others replaced the "yogurt" pun with other puns that turned one word into a greeting, such as "Support / Port: Sup."
