About

Pibble Death and Pibble is Dead refer to an internet death hoax and rumor that Pibble, the French bulldog puppy, passed away. The idea that Pibble the dog was dead spread in viral memes and posts on Instagram Reels and TikTok in October 2025. Pibble was not dead, though, because "Pibble" broadly refers to any image of a "Frenchie" puppy. Also, the creator of the Pibble meme, @pibble12 on Instagram, confirmed that the dog in the original Pibble photo, known as the Handheld Pupper, did not die, per new photos and videos shared by the dog's owner on Instagram that same month.
