POV: 2K Sunsets Healed You, also known by the phrasal template POV: X Sunsets Healed You, refers to an exploitable video meme format based on a video posted by TikToker FooFee (@foofee_da_gamer) in early June 2025, which showed himself getting "healed" by a sunset in the basketball video game NBA 2K. FooFee is shown in the top half wearing a grey turtleneck sweater and glasses, looking serenely at the digital sunset. The video had a POV caption that read, "POV: 2K sunsets HEALED you ❤️🩹 🌅." It was set to the song "Best Part" by H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar. In the following weeks, meme creators swapped the video game reference and recaptioned the text, replacing the name of the sunset in question. Some also replaced FooFee with either themself or a character akin to the setting of their choosing.
Origin
On June 1st, 2025, TikToker[1] FooFee (@foofee_da_gamer) posted a seemingly satirical video, showing himself getting "healed" by a sunset in the video game NBA 2K. The text caption read, "POV: 2K sunsets HEALED you ❤️🩹 🌅." It was set to the song "Best Part" by H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar.[2] Over four days, the video received roughly 292,900 likes (shown below).

In the following days, others used the video's TikTok sound[3] to post memes following the format. For instance, on June 2nd, 2025, TikToker[4] @_elwie posted a video of himself getting healed by Valorant sunsets, gaining over 121,200 likes in three days (shown below).

On June 4th, TikToker[5] @barkbarkgrrrbarkbarkbark posted a video that showed her getting healed by Overwatch sunsets, gaining over 22,800 likes in a day (shown below).

The format began mixing with other trending memes on TikTok at the time. For instance, on June 4th, 2025, TikToker[6] @yeatlovr posted an iteration about an Agartha sunset, showing underground rap producer TDF wearing a skull mask, related to the He Don't Got Internet meme. The video received over 26,500 likes in a day (shown below).
