In a particular panel of the manhwa, a mother was being handed her crying newborn and utters "Queen never cry," which prompts the baby to immediately stop crying (seen below). Redditor^[2] u/OriginalAlberto posted one of the earliest mentions of the scene, which amassed more than 445 upvotes and 28 comments in two days.

The "queen never cry" panel gained viral attention on November 23rd, 2024, after X^[3] user @avecirru uploaded two images from the The Ki Sisters manhwa, writing "Someone needs to tell me the lore of this baby," which gained over 4 million views and 219,000 likes.

On the same day, TikTok^[4] user @fuyutits uploaded a fan edit of the queen never cry meme accompanied by Nicki Minaj's "So Special" music, which received more than 4 million plays and 1.2 million likes in a day.
