About
Stop Raping, Ser, also known as Stop Raping, Sir, is a quote and scene from the 2026 fantasy TV series A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms (AKOTSK), depicting Ser Duncan "Dunk" the Tall (played by actor Peter Claffey) holding a sword out straight with two horses in the background. The moment comes from season one, episode one, titled "The Hedge Knight," which was released in mid-January 2026.
A still from the scene with the catchphrase as a text caption rapidly became an exploitable reaction image after the episode aired, spreading over the following months as people recaptioned the original using the phrasal templates "Stop X, ser" or "Stop raping X, ser," such as "Stop raping the source material, ser." The format also saw use in image macro memes and captions. The meme is typically used in a literal sense with the original quote.
