A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms refers to the Game of Thrones prequel series set during the age of Targaryen dynastic rule[1], with the setting based on the Novella the "Tale of Dunk and Egg", starring Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon Targaryen, as they journey across Westeros in their youth[2]. Created by George Martin and Ira Parker with HBO, it is the second spinoff series of the Game of Thrones franchise, following House of the Dragon, and the first episode is set to premiere on the 18th of January 2026.[3]
