Warning Laughing at Peoples Characters is Strictly Forbidden is a reaction and image macro meme showing a crudely drawn figure going red in the face, trying not to laugh at an overweight anthropomorphic character next to a sign that reads, "Warning, laughing at people's characters is strictly forbidden." The image originally emerged out of an internet feud between Twitter / X user @fractalcounty, or "ChippleDipple," who repeatedly mocked X user @nescartridges's OC, a fat character named "Pipca." In subsequent months, the image came to be used to mock people for posting artwork featuring fat characters or fat fetish art.

Origin

Sometime in 2024, Twitter / X users @fractalcounty and @nescartridges entered into a public feud over the latter's character "Pipca." X user @fractalcounty reportedly created the reaction image shown below to mock Pipca's character design. The account @fractalcounty was doxxed and suspended from Twitter soon after.

The earliest accessible report of the "Warning, laughing at people's characters is strictly forbidden" image is a July 4th, 2025, tweet by X^[1] user @FenixinReborn, posted in response to a piece of Deltarune fan art.

On September 13th, 2025, X^[2] user @frogsodaa_lol tweeted the Warning Laughing at People's Characters Is Strictly Forbidden image alongside a caption that read, "I like this image I feel maternal for the thing in the middle." The post gathered over 6,000 likes in two months.

On October 6th, 2025, X^[3] user @kyotokafe tweeted the reaction image in response to artwork posted by X user @rubmybellayyyy, receiving over 197,000 views and 11,000 likes in a month.
