About
We'll Drive A Funky Ehh or He'll Drive A Funky Ehh refers to a viral video of a kid claiming, during a game of Fortnite, that a remix of the song "Someone to Call My Lover" by Janet Jackson is by Oliver Tree, singing the song, "Maybe we'll meet at a bar, we'll drive a fancy ehh." The kid then plays the remix in which "car" is replaced with a moaning noise.
The video was uploaded by Fortnite troll and YouTuber Cloudxxs on June 15th, 2026. A clip of the moment went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels later that month, inspiring animations, remixes and memes based on the audio of the kid singing the song.
Some memes associate the "ehh" sound with an image of the character Gumball Watterson from The Amazing World of Gumball making a sighing face. Other memes continue to jokingly spread the false claim that Oliver Tree made the song.
Origin
On June 15th, 2026, YouTuber[1] Cloudxxs posted a video of himself trolling people in Fortnite titled "R.I.P Oliver Tree… [Fortnite trolling]," garnering over 92,000 views in a month.
At the 06:48 timestamp, a kid playing the game incorrectly sings a version of the song "Someone to Call My Lover," singing, "Maybe we'll meet at a bar, we'll drive a funky ehh." He incorrectly claims the song is by Oliver Tree, who had recently died. The YouTuber asks why he sang "ehh" and then the kid plays a popular TikTok remix of the song by prodloudz.[2]
On June 23rd, Cloudxxs uploaded the clip to his TikTok[3] account, garnering over 2.3 million views in two weeks.
