On December 13th, 2025, TikTok^[1] user @ysk_podcast17 posted an original YSK Podcast clip featuring the two hosts discussing their favorite cereals and arguing over the coloring and flavor of Froot Loops. When one host is asked, "What's your favorite cereal?" he responds with a lip trill, producing a vibrating sound by pushing air through his lips. The video received over 1.8 million views and 99,300 likes in nine months.

On August 24th, 2026, TikTok^[2] user @td_o_ posted an edit of the original clip in which the lip-trill sound is extended and overlaid throughout the remainder of the video. The edit received over 1 million views and 170,100 likes in nine days, spawning a series of additonal memes in the following days.

As the clip resurfaced and began spreading across the platform in late August 2026, it was used in numerous absurd edits and memes on TikTok.

For example, on August 27th, 2026, TikTok^[3] user @abdul.jamal.ethan posted another edit in which the sound progressively becomes louder, incorporating a clip of comedian Kevin Hart saying, "Say [noise] again." The video received over 517,000 views and 80,800 likes in six days.

On August 28th, 2026, TikTok^[4] user @pawelpoplawski.com posted another edit featuring the same Kevin Hart clip alongside footage of helicopters, whose rotors produce a sound resembling the host's lip trill. The video received over 557,200 views and 105,300 likes in five days.
