About

White Dragon Captured at Secret Government Facility In China, also known as Real Dragon In China Video, refers to rumors that a white dragon is being held captive at a secret Chinese government facility, based on an AI-generated video of a dragon standing in an open field surrounded by trees with people walking around it. The video was posted in early January 2026 by the eatbiz Instagram page and spread throughout the month. The video is a hoax, and there is no proof that a dragon is being held captive by China.

Origin

On January 7th, 2026, TikToker[1] @faunavision7 posted an AI-generated video of a white dragon standing in a field surrounded by trees, gaining over 14 million views in three weeks. The caption discusses legends of a white dragon living in China and protected by a "grandmother."

There is no evidence to suggest that the video is real.

#dragon #naga #nenek #fyp #horor #ceritapendek ♬ original sound – Lauren Paley

Is this legend about the appearance of a grandmother raising a dragon real? In remote China, there is an old story about a white dragon that lives hidden and is guarded by an unknown grandmother in the middle of the forest. In Chinese history, the white dragon is believed to be a sacred creature that protects natural balance and is a harbinger of great change. This recording makes the old story be discussed again there. Do you think this is real or just AI? Or is the video intended to be a conspiracy to reappear?

On January 9th, 2026, Instagram[2] user eatbiz reposted the video, gaining over 90,000 likes in about three weeks.

On January 10th, Instagram[3] page geistasm84 posted the same video with a different overlaid caption reading, "Shocking video of a white dragon captured at a secret government facility in China," garnering over 685,000 likes in about three weeks. This is the earliest known repost of the video to claim the dragon has been captured by the Chinese government.
