Controversial streaming personality Dr. DisRespect and similarly contentious streaming and video-hosting platform Rumble have just confirmed they signed a business deal.

The "Two Time" livestreamer inked an exclusive deal with Rumble, taking on the dual role of both streamer and investor. The announcement marks a significant partnership for the platform, with Dr DisRespect no doubt looking for a fresh start on a new streaming site after receiving quite a bit of backlash in recent years.

The move comes months after the video game streamer admitted to exchanging inappropriate messages with an underage girl, a claim that he has since repeatedly downplayed.

After being deplatformed from Twitch and demonetized on YouTube, Dr DisRespect left his fans speculating about what the next chapter in his career would look like.

They got their answer yesterday when the streamer hinted at a possible collaboration with Rumble in a stream on which he also announced a $25,000 giveaway prize for his fans. The livestream glitched to a static "No Signal" message before the words "This stream has been redirected" flashed in Rumble's signature green color.

The streamer had taken a two-month hiatus following the news about his messaging a minor becoming one of the bigger controversies of the year and returned in a fiery YouTube stream titled, "The Truth." The video, which remains the most streamed broadcast on Dr DisRespect's channel, saw him admitting to texting someone within the "legal age of consent" using the discontinued Twitch Whispers feature.

Dr. DisRespect waited to hear back about his YouTube demonetization for 60 days in early November 2024, during which time he acknowledged Rumble's burgeoning streaming numbers, even as fans told him that the site might "suit" him better.

Rumble chair and CEO Chris Pavlovski put out a statement in an official blog post that read, "Rumble is in a new era and I'm laser-focused on expanding into two categories: gaming and crypto," adding, "Dr Disrespect will give a much-needed injection into our gaming category."

The streamer is set to go live exclusively on the platform early next week on December 2nd, with Rumble also offering discounts to users subscribed to his channel in an effort to promote the gaming streamer.
