They are not formulated the same way, nor are they of the same form nor function in a recipe. Corn flour is used mainly to thicken or make a finer crumb texture in cake, while corn syrup is there to sweeten and give it a light fluffy yet firm struct hope this helps. Reply

This is in fact a Confection. A lasagna specifically refers to a baked Italian dish consisting of wide strips of pasta cooked and layered with meat or vegetables, cheese, and tomato sauce. MICHELLE GOTH JANUARY 27, 2023 @ 10:20 AM Hello Frauden! Yes, substituting white wine vinegar would make it exceptionally tart. The level of acidity in vinegar is quite a bit higher than wine. If you don't have white wine to use in the future, chicken broth is a good substitute!

Allrecipes Member ⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑ 05/12/2024 recipe was exact I was not ... the candy thermometer fell in the goop as I was adjusting the burner,,,I reached 235 on low simmer that was it... then cooled to 115 added butter and vanilla I stirred until sheen disappeared as stated Put in greased pan set in refrigerator,,, 1 hour later semi hard would not hold a toothpick upright... was it that exact on Temp?? also margarine vs butter ?? no ?? While some ingredients may have the same volume (i.e. the 2 teaspoons of yeast and 2 teaspoons of salt), they can have different weights (i.e. a cup of feathers does not weigh the same as a cup of gold). We consistently measure a cup of flour to be 130g, so about 430g (give or take, since some bakers may need to add an additional Tablespoon or so if the dough is especially w is correct for the 3 and 1/4 cups needed for recipe. 700g of flour is entirely too much and would lead to a very dry, crumbly bread.
