Dylan O'Brien Twitter Video / Leaked Twinless Scene, also known as the Dylan O'Brien GIF or Dylan O'Brien Twitter GIF, refers to an explicit video of actor Dylan O'Brien (known for his role in Teen Wolf) that leaked on Twitter / X in early 2025. The video was a gay sex scene from his upcoming film Twinless with actor and director James Sweeney. When the video and GIFs of it leaked on X, many users shared viral reactions in tweets and memes, akin to a piece of shock media.

Origin

On January 31st, 2025, X^[1] user @archivdob tweeted two pieces of media that showed actor Dylan O'Brien in a gay sex scene from his upcoming film Twinless, receiving over 117,000 likes in three days. The media was later taken down for violating the copyright terms of the movie in a DMCA claim (shown below).

Spread

The GIFs were widely shared by other X^[2] users on January 31st, 2025, however, all were eventually removed for violating the copyright holder's terms. Viral reactions ensued soon after.

For instance, on January 31st, X^[3] user @xSpaceDude tweeted a GIF from the film Whiplash in which the protagonist is performing a drum solo but it looks like he's masturbating. @xSpaceDude captioned it, "Me with those Dylan O'Brien GIFs," gaining over 33,000 likes in three days (shown below).

On February 1st, 2025, X^[4] user @616LINLIE tweeted in all caps, "I WAS A DYLAN O’BRIEN FAN BEFORE HIS GAY SEX SCENE IN TWINLESS TRENDED ON TWITTER," gaining over 51,000 likes in two days (shown below).

The Twinless scene also amassed reactions on TikTok over the same timeframe. For instance, on February 1st, TikToker^[5] @raquiaali posted a video using the My Shayla sound with a caption reading, "My face after seeing a certain video of Dylan O'Brien on Twitter," receiving over 46,500 likes in two days (shown below).
