Overview

Peluchin Entertainment Animal Abuse Controversy refers to accusations that the Chilean YouTuber Peluchin Entertainment uploaded videos depicting the abuse of cats of kittens.

Background

In early December 2018, Peluchin Entertainment uploaded videos in which he can be seen torturing, beating and killing a cat. On December 20th, 2018, YouTuber TheQuartering uploaded a video titled "Ban This Channel & Call Police @YeamYouTube," which denounced the Peluchin Entertainment channel for uploading videos showing what appeared to be the abuse of kittens (shown below). Within three weeks, the video gained over 417,000 views and 13,500 comments.



Developments

On December 22nd, 2018, TheQuartering uploaded a followup video titled "Cat Maniac Update," which began with a Crab Rave video announcing that "the kittens are safe" and that Chilean officials were investigating Oyarzo (shown below).



On December 31st, YouTuber Cecil Mcfly uploaded a video titled "The Horrific Career of Peluchin Entertainment," which documented the history of Peluchin Entertainment on the video sharing platform (shown below, left). On January 3rd, 2019, YouTuber Amanda the Jedi uploaded a video titled "Ban this Monster! Cat Killer STILL on YouTube – Peluchin Entertainment" (shown below, right).
