Gumball's Mom OnlyFans is an adult animated viral video by artist matchattea43 in which Gumball Watterson from The Amazing World of Gumball finds his mother Nicole's OnlyFans page while browsing 4chan. The video was posted to X (Twitter) in September 2021 and went viral over the following years through bait-and-switch memes and reactions.

Origin

On September 19th, 2021, X user @matchattea43 posted an NSFW animation in which Gumball from The Amazing World of Gumball finds his mom's OnlyFans account and watches one of her videos, captioning the post, "Hello, World!" The video gained over 220,000 likes and 32,000 reposts in two years. On September 20th, YouTuber^[1] CRD FUN posted a more SFW version of the video titled "Mommy?" garnering over 1.5 million views in the same span of time. In the video, Gumball is voiced by X^[2] user @kirakirakat.

Spread

The video became the subject of reactions and memes over the following years. On October 5th, 2021, YouTuber^[3] InternetCity posted a video where two men react to several videos, ending the video with a reaction to the Gumball video, garnering over 1.1 million views in two years (shown below).

On May 1st, 2022, YouTuber^[4] EBF MUSIC posted a bait-and-switch meme using the video titled "Gumball's Mom Onlyfans," garnering over 27 million views in a year (shown below, left). On August 12th, YouTuber^[5] Devildepths posted a similar meme, garnering over 160,000 views in a year (shown below, right).

On March 24th, 2023, YouTuber^[6] PrinceCharming posted a video where he reacts to the SFW version of the video, garnering over 116,000 views in nine months. On December 7th, X^[7] user and gimmick account @youtube_bad, aka "Bad Youtube content," posted a screenshot of the thumbnail from EBF MUSIC's bait-and-switch meme, garnering over 6,000 likes in four days (shown below).
