On February 2nd, 2018, Twitter user @Kiburuzu^[1] uploaded a picture of a plush toy of Astolfo from Fate/Apocrypha with the caption "Haunted Astolfo Bean Plushie That Sucks Your Dick and Calls You Gay." The tweet gained 270 retweets and 590 likes (shown below).

Quickly after the character was posted online, it started seeing use in image macros and YouTube remix videos. On February 6th, a video of the character dancing to music was posted to YouTube, gaining over 48,000 views (shown below, left).
