Hi I Got My Account Back is a Twitter copypasta inspired by a tweet from James Charles in which he celebrated getting his main Twitter account back and, similar to Twitch streamer Shaperka posted a nude picture of himself that was allegedly being used as blackmail against him. The tweet and copypasta reads, "hi I got my account back 🙃 just case I ever get hacked again, here’s the ONLY nude I’ve ever taken! can’t threaten me with it now 🤠🖕🏼 get a life." Twitter users parodied the tweet by posting the text, then posting a humorous photograph.

Origin

On August 24th, James Charles' Twitter was hacked, allegedly by a "serial hacker" known as the "ChucklingSquad" who had targeted other YouTube star Shane Dawson. One of the tweets posted by the hacker threatened to release a nude of Charles once an account called @OwenBDK reached 4,000 followers.^[1] Once Charles regained his account later that day, he posted the alleged nude the hackers were threatening to leak, gaining over 22,000 retweets 224,000 likes (shown below).^[2]

Several Twitter accounts, primarily those of the YouTube community, posted parody tweets with the same text and humorous pictures. Ethan Klein posted a picture of himself nude, gaining over 23,000 retweets and 180,000 likes^[3] (shown below, left). User @shanesgarza^[4] posted a picture of an uncooked chicken with the copypasta, gaining 12 retweets and 197 likes (shown below, right).

Other Twitter users continued to post the copypasta over the following two days. Other parodies include posts by @MOTHERKIMCHI^[5] (shown below, left) and user @KetuAlbrecht,^[6] who tweeted the copypasta with a picture of an orange, gaining 4 retweets and 50 likes (shown below, right).
