That's Pussy Babe! is a phrasal meme popular on Tumblr that grew from a popular text post into a snowclone.

Origin

On July 22nd, 2017, Tumblr user dreamtwee^[1] reblogged a post by gushergirl that read "what’s the pink they put in pink lemonade that makes it so poppin" with the answer "that's pussy babe!" The post gained over 163,000 notes (shown below).

Spread

The popularity of the post caused it to spread through Tumblr in various iterations. On September 26th, 2017, Tumblr user realmemehours^[2] posted the phrase in the Looney Toons end-card font, gaining over 2,000 notes (shown below, left). On October 16th, 2017, user Schnedwob^[3] posted a similar joke, pairing the text with a picture of Porky Pig, gaining over 6,100 notes (shown below, right).

The popularity of the joke also led the phrase to turn into a snowclone on the site. For example, user Nicolas-PX^[4] uploaded a text post that read "Women in the 1800s: Why am I dying?
Doctors: Thats the pussy babe!", gaining over 760 notes (shown below, left). User lesboerotic^[5] uploaded a joke that read "the apostles: what’s in this water that makes it so holy? jesus: thats pussy babe !" that gained over 320 notes (shown below, right).
