GOBLIN MURDER HOBOS!!!

Ahem…so, continuing the running theme in British folklore that all Faeries are d----, we come across the Redcaps, who are a type of goblin that lives in and around the ruins of old castles along the English-Scottish border.

Redcaps get their name from the blood-soaked caps they wear on their heads. If the blood ever dries, the Redcap will die. This is the main thing that compels them to murder any travellers they come across.

Every Redcap wears iron-shod boots and carries with them a large pike. Although they appear unwieldy, Redcaps are said to be extraordinarily fast and almost impossible to outrun.
