Notes:

The Fomorians, or Fomhóire, were the mythical first settlers of Ireland, who fought of invasions by Partholón and Nemed, before being conquered and driven out of most of Ireland by Tuatha Dé Danann,

The Fomorians were described as being a race of deformed and mismatched beings, ranging in appearance from the stereotypical Elf, to men with goat heads, to giants with one leg, one arm and one eye.

This image depicts one of the latter ones, with the second leg being a false one made of wood.

They were also described as being a very bloodthirsty and war-like people; although this does not apply to all of them, as much like with humans, each Fomorian had their own individual beliefs and personalities.
