About

Dakooters is a YouTuber known for narrations of copypasta and original remixes of popular memes. In late 2018, Dakooters popularized the "huggie wuggies" catchphrase through her video of the same name, spawning parodies on YouTube.

Online History

On September 3rd, 2016, Dakooters joined YouTube.^[1] On December 9th, 2017, Dakooters uploaded her first video, "walking bear.gif" (shown below, left). The video amassed over 97,500 views and 4,500 likes in three years. On January 1st, 2018, Dakooters uploaded a video titled, "get out of my car except it has a sick vocode and a groovy beat" which received 435,000 views and 17,800 likes in two years (shown below, right).

On January 4th, 2018, Dakooters uploaded her first voice-over video titled, "peanus weenus" (shown below) involving a scenario of siblings, where the older brother reaches for the other sibling's "peanus weenus" which then cuts to a bait-and-switch clip of an explosion, EDM song, and a soundbite of a man exclaiming "That makes you gay, bitch!". As of 2020, the video accumulated over 942,300 views and 45,000 likes.

Reputation

In November of 2016, Dakooters opened up a Redbubble account,^[2] which was then deprecated in late 2017, where Dakooters' online fashion shop opened under the brand "So Darn Cute"^[3] which sells merchandise based off of original creations and those seen on her videos. On March 23rd, 2018, Dakooters' Twitch^[5] channel was created under the username "miilkies" and has gained 12.6K followers in two years. As of August 2020, Dakooters' has over 20,400 followers on Twitter,^[6] 209,000 subscribers on YouTube, and 95 patrons on Patreon.

Huggie Wuggies

Huggie Wuggies is an expression relating to getting hugged by someone. When used online, it may be a euphemism for having sexual intercourse. On October 21st, 2018, Dakooters uploaded an original voice-over with panels of manga "tomo-chan wa onnanoko" featuring YouTuber KorrEVA.

Bussy Gang

Bussy Gang refers to a song parody of popular rapper Lil Pump's single called "Gucci Gang". The lyrics humorously reference transgender topics such as taking hormones to increase breast growth and simp/orbiter culture.

Pogodemon / Cacoggers

Pogodemon refers to fan-art of DOOM series' monster Cacodemon resemblance similar to the PogChamp/Poggers meme. First seen on February 8th, 2020, later submitted to the FrankerFaceZ extension^[4] as the "Pogodemon" emote.
