No, this has not happened in real life. It was inspired by an episode of the Dokapon Kingdom LP.
Drawn by an-artist-complex for TheStrawhatNO's LP of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. (The image URL and links on the archive page suggest that it can also be found on Tumblr - I'll have to go looking for it later.) So, at the Sandship, ThornBrain had quite the... <i>interesting</i> reaction to finally obtaining the Bow. And TheStrawhatNO! has a history of amazing and weird artwork being produced for its LP's. Me, I'm just wondering what in Hylia's name Fi is wearing, and how Link got her to wear something like that. I mean, Link wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap, a T-shirt, jeans, a gold necklace, and a brass knuckle is something I can see as being <i>somewhat</i> plausible - the Zelda universe is <a href="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnachronismStew">no stranger to anachronism</a>. But did Hylia even <i>design</i> Fi to be <i>able</i> to <a href="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BareYourMidriff">bare her midriff?!?</a> Or to change her clothes at all?!? <b>Does Fi even have a belly-button?!?</b> It doesn't sound like it could be in any way necessary for her purpose. ...Though now that I've mentioned the jeans, I have to say that the Triforce belt buckle is a really clever touch.
