Nope. Never ever.
Not even in Fallout 4, where a main plot point is whether self aware androids can be considered human, and escape their masters through an "Underground Railroad." That was definitely not a hamfisted attempt to show that robots are the new black, and I'm sure David "Scène de Viol" Cage has given us a very down to Earth, subtle portrayal of an android civil rights movement.

The only reason DSP probably likes it is because it's so obvious and ham-fisted that even he can understand it
