As you can see, some of the locals treat the scalies with antipathy from their rather troubled history.

New Kalazzena is a popular city to visit for Vasma II-stationed Odraani soldiers during their weekly leave. It's a bustling trade town, busy, loud markets, surrounded by narrow, steep streets. The city wasn't built with cars in mind, as all advanced technology withered away once supplies ceased coming in.

The locals have very mixed feelings towards the reptiles' presence; some see them as just interesting sights, potential customers, some see them important future trade partners, while others see them as colonists barging in or just simply don't care.

Here we have Halu, Io and Anni, a small team of SiozKtutlfenstür (Research Station #6)-stationed odrai walking into a market to pick up some food and snacks before heading to the lagoon, a popular place for the reptiles to relax, bask and swim."
